Wham-Bam-Tram Ram Counter Adendum
We report on Wham-Bam-Tram crashes that are not reported elsewhere

January 27, 2005 @ 3:45PM
Fannin at MacGregor

This was first reported to Action America by some of our alert readers, shortly after it happened. A few hours later, we saw it reported on KPRC-TV (2), but it never appeared on their web site or any other news web site. We verified it by calling both KPRC-TV and Metro.

February 3, 2005 shortly before 11:00AM - 2 injuries
Fannin at ??? (we missed the intersection name)

This was first reported to Action America by one of our alert readers, who heard about it on KSEV radio. We subsequently heard a short mention of it on KSEV. If the report does not appear on any news web site by Friday, February 4, we will call Metro to verify the exact location and time of this crash. (update: Metro is moving into their shiny new building this week and we are having trouble getting in contact with anyone in authority at Metro right now.) (update 2: No report appeared on any news web site, so we contacted KSEV, Metro and others, for confirmation. The best that we can determine, is that this report was probably based on a confusing updated report, from Metro, concerning a previous crash. In other words, the crash that was reported on February 3, was just a correction of info concerning a crash that happened several days earlier.)

March 20, 2006 @ 4:33PM
We missed the intersection.

Reported on KPRC-TV once, but not repeated later. It was never placed on their web site. We will update this crash data, when we receive the next Freedom of Information report from Metro.
